WINE - Polish Wine and Vineyard Fair, where IFM PAN will present its research offer, is a new event organized by the MTP Group, enabling better understanding of the national wine-making.
Year by year, Polish winemakers improve their wines, which allows the best of them to successfully compete with foreign producers. The considerable interest in wine production in Poland is evidenced by the dynamic growth in the number of vineyards. 10 years ago there were only 26 vineyards on the Polish market compared to over 300 today and new producers are constantly appearing.
The fair is an excellent opportunity to see the increasingly richer and more perfect offer of domestic wine and cider producers. During the event, you will be able to taste and buy wine from native winemakers from different parts of Poland - from Małopolska to the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. A very strong representation of wine producers is expected from southern Poland - at a stand organized by the Association called The Institute of Rural Areas Development will be able to meet representatives of as many as 12 vineyards from the Małopolskie Voivodeship. In total, more than 20 vineyards will be presented at the WINO Fair.
A very important point of the Fair's agenda will be the wine tasting at the GardenCity restaurant, located on the Poznań International Fair area. Participants will have the opportunity to taste 9 different wines, accompanied by 9 delicious dishes. The wine tasting will be enriched with a professional commentary, which allowed to explore the secrets of combining dishes with wine (participation in the tasting is ticketed separately). During the three-day event, there will also be presentations related to the enotourism offer - a form of recreation that has been gaining more and more popularity in recent months. Another important event accompanying the Fair will also be the Polish Wine Rally, i.e. the 1st Rally of the Polish Caravanning Group.
