Objectives:
The main aim of the Summer School is application of experimental methods and computational techniques to study the electronic and magnetic properties of 3d and 4f systems and training of young scientists (Ph.D. and post-doctoral students) in the theoretical techniques and experimental methods applicable for studies of the electronic and magnetic properties of novel materials, and also the exchange experiences between scientists working in leading European laboratories on new magnetic materials. It will be an excellent opportunity to present new results in the field of magnetism and discuss about technical details concerning preparation techniques, characterisation methods and theoretical treatment of the new materials and the observed phenomena.
